A few weeks ago the Terrain Park hosted a free photo shoot for the shredders. Professional quality pictures were taken and uploaded to Facebook where people were allowed to vote on their favorites. Here is the winning shot of Harley Sullivan. Second place went to Kaleb Bingham and third place to Camdyn Young.

Special thanks to Jake Nelson Photography for their services. Click on the picture to check out Jake's work and some of the other entries and some of Jake's other work. The event was such a success we may do it again so make sure to follow the Wolf Mountain Terrain Park Facebook page for the info!

Snow Conditions-Looking Good

No doubt it has been a difficult snow season for everyone in Utah this year. That being said, conditions at Wolf Mountain have been excellent of late. Even though there has not been a good snow storm for a few weeks there are a number of things that keep the snow fantastic.

Snowmaking continues on nights when temperatures allow. The crew is diligent making as much snow as needed to keep the mountain stocked with the white stuff. Manmade snow actually lasts longer than natural snow due to the compact nature of the flakes.

Almost the entire mountain is re-groomed and 'corduroy-ed' each night and the mountain is refreshed for use by skiers and boarders. The top few inches of the snow that becomes compacted from 12 hours of skiing is tilled up and laid back down to form that corduroy look.

There are rumors out there of some more storms possibly next week which will only help as well. All things considered the snow is holding up great and that makes for some fun turns with family and friends.

Ski Patrol 'Funny...but Serious    Tip of the Week'

Just a little reminder to all you snowboarders out there-tie your snowboard BOOTS TIGHTLY because the other day we caught a snowboard flying down the hill without it's owner...and attached to that snowboard was one untied boot.

That's a cold walk down the hill, or an embarrassing courtesy ride in a toboggan by your friendly Wolf Mountain Patrol. That had to have been a good crash...

Corporate Ski Days

Get out of the office, cubes or whatever you spend your 9-5 life in! Let your bosses or HR representatives know that Wolf Mountain has corporate ski days available this year!

Your company can pick from many dates as a company ski day and employees can ski for substantially reduced rates. Employees can ski together/separate/on their own etc. anytime on your corporate day. Some can come in the morning, others in the evening, etc. No set time necessary.

Only 20 employees needed to participate, no set rosters needed beforehand. Very simple process to get corporate rates. Employees just show their company ID and they and their family can ski for the reduced rates on that corporate day.
